GOPIZZA is changing its identity to GTGO as the South Korean food company expands from a pizza-focused business into a broader Korean food and beverage platform. The rebrand coincides with the company’s fifth anniversary and marks a shift in how it plans to build its international business. Founded in South Korea in 2016, GTGO now operates across 11 countries.
In India, the company has more than 65 stores across three brands — GOPIZZA, Gochujang and Dalkomi. While GOPIZZA continues to focus on pizza, Gochujang brings Korean street food to the portfolio, while Dalkomi operates in the Korean dessert category. Together, the three brands form GTGO’s K-Food Platform, allowing the company to build a multi-brand food business rather than rely on a single category.
“This multi-brand approach, tailored to individual markets rather than built around a single global brand, is now central to GTGO’s strategy overseas. With a population of 1.4 billion and one of the world’s fastest-growing food service sectors, India serves as a key proving ground for this model, one that could shape how GTGO expands into other markets,” said Mahesh Reddy, co-founder and CEO, GTGO.
Technology remains central to the expansion
GTGO’s food business is supported by proprietary technology, including conveyor ovens and compact kiosk systems, which are designed to support its food service operations. The company’s pizza technology is currently deployed across more than 1,600 stores globally through partnerships with retail chains including GS25 and CGV. Beyond operating restaurants and food brands, GTGO is also exploring B2B opportunities around its food technology and kiosk systems.
“This is an important milestone in expanding the business beyond what was previously confined to GOPIZZA, and in advancing as a global brand built on food technology. We look forward to continued support as we grow on a wider stage,” said Lim Jae-won, global CEO and founder, GTGO.
With the rebrand, GTGO is positioning itself around a wider Korean food ecosystem, combining multiple food brands with technology-led operations as it continues its international expansion.
