Following a competitive pitch, dentsu will become Netflix’s sole holding-company media partner across the EMEA markets covered by the appointment, extending its existing UK relationship to 21 additional markets. Netflix has expanded its media partnership with dentsu, appointing the agency as its sole holding-company media partner across EMEA following a competitive pitch process.
The move builds on dentsu’s existing media relationship with Netflix in the UK and takes the partnership into 21 additional markets across the region. Under the expanded mandate, dentsu will manage Netflix’s media account across the EMEA markets included in the appointment. The account will be supported by teams from dentsu’s Media Practice and Dentsu Lab, working through dentsu ENTS to bring together regional capabilities and market-level expertise.
Amy Watt, President, iProspect UK, dentsu, said, “This is a moment of real pride for dentsu. Our teams have shown what is possible when we combine regional scale with genuine local strategic thinking, approaching client relationships with both humility and ambition. We look forward to building on the strong foundations of our UK partnership and delivering outstanding work for Netflix across EMEA.” With the expanded remit, dentsu will now oversee Netflix’s media account across the appointed EMEA markets, broadening a partnership that began with the UK into a wider regional relationship.
