‘Aap Aur Canva, Jodi Wah Wah!’ features Farah Khan, Raghu Ram and Terence Lewis as the brand turns the familiar reality-show judging format into a celebration of ideas brought to life.

India has never been short of ideas. Canva’s latest campaign looks at what happens when those ideas can move from imagination to execution with less friction. Titled Aap Aur Canva, Jodi Wah Wah!, the campaign is Canva’s biggest brand campaign in India to date and marks the next phase of its communication following Dil Se Design Tak. This time, the focus shifts from encouraging people to see themselves as creative to showing how easily they can turn an idea into something tangible. The campaign brings together Farah Khan, Raghu Ram and Terence Lewis in a playful take on India’s familiar reality-show judging format. Known for putting contestants through their paces on television, the trio finds itself on the other side of the equation here, watching creators, working professionals and small business owners use Canva to turn their ideas into finished work.

Each participant arrives with a different creative need and the same underlying confidence: “I Can… CANVAAAA!” As their ideas take shape, the judges who would traditionally be looking for flaws are instead left impressed by what they see. The campaign is built around Canva’s growing AI capabilities, positioning technology as a way to reduce the gap between having an idea and knowing how to execute it. The premise is particularly relevant to three audiences at the centre of the campaign — creators, working professionals and small businesses. For creators, the platform showcases tools designed to help turn ideas into content faster. Professionals can use AI-powered features to create presentations and other communication material, while small businesses can develop marketing assets without needing large creative teams or agency budgets.

The campaign films, shot in Hindi and Tamil, bring this proposition into distinctly Indian settings and cultural references. Canva also uses the campaign to showcase features including Magic Video 2.0, AI-powered Presentations, Magic Layers, Image to Video, Style Match, AI Video Effects, Offline Mode and Music & SFX Generation. Another India-focused element is Canva Pro Lite, an AI-first, mobile-first subscription designed and priced specifically for the Indian market, expanding access to the platform’s premium creative capabilities. The campaign also marks Canva’s first creative partnership with independent agency Fundamental.

Chandrika Deb, Country Manager, India, Canva, said, “India has never had a shortage of creativity. What we’re witnessing now is a shift in who gets to bring that creativity to life. Every day, someone has an idea that could start a business, tell a story, solve a problem or inspire a community. Our role at Canva isn’t to tell people how to be creative – it’s to make sure nothing stands between that spark of an idea and the confidence to share it. That’s why this campaign matters. It celebrates a future where creativity is no longer limited by experience or technical skills, but powered by imagination. And in that future, the best ideas will shape what’s next.”

Pallavi Chakravarti, Founder & CCO, Fundamental, said, “Design is intimidating for most of us. Not because we’re short on inspiration. Because we lack the know-how and tools to convert our vision into reality. And that’s exactly where Canva comes in. Our campaign first brings alive the doubts that plague creators, working professionals and business owners and then kills those doubts once and for all. It’s a celebration of the can-do spirit of Canva and the partnership it can provide us all.”

With Aap Aur Canva, Jodi Wah Wah!, Canva turns its AI proposition into a larger cultural conversation around who gets to create. The campaign’s message is straightforward: when the tools become easier to use, more ideas get the chance to become something real.
