At the 25th edition of the prestigious EMVIE Awards, Wavemaker India was honored as the Best Media Agency of the Year, while Mondelez India was named Best Media Client of the Year. The awards ceremony, organized by The Advertising Club, took place on March 28, 2025, at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
In partnership with The Times of India and UltraTech Cement, the EMVIE Awards celebrated excellence in media strategy, creativity, and innovation. This landmark silver jubilee edition drew an unprecedented 1,779 entries, with 443 campaigns shortlisted across categories. The evening saw participation from over 1,000 industry professionals representing media, advertising, marketing, and research sectors.
Wavemaker India topped the leaderboards with 665 points, securing the top agency honor, while Mondelez India Foods Pvt. Ltd. earned 380 points, winning the top client accolade. The Grand EMVIE was awarded to Initiative Media (India) Pvt. Ltd. for its groundbreaking work on Amazon Prime Video’s Mirzapur, showcasing an inventive use of generative AI and interactive storytelling.

Mindshare India and EssenceMediacom followed in second and third place, respectively, in the agency rankings.
Other highlights included:
- The EMVIE for Diversity, Equality & Inclusion (DE&I) went to Interactive Avenues for its impactful campaign with the Chhanv Foundation, spotlighting the story of an acid attack survivor.
- Navneet Kabra from Wavemaker India received the Young EMVIE of the Year award for his contributions to the Cadbury 5 Star and Cadbury Celebrations campaigns.
