“For years, Akkshay and I have shared thought-provoking conversations about the nuances of the Indian film industry. This podcast is a natural extension of those dialogues, offering a rare and honest look into the world of filmmaking. In an industry often veiled in glamor, we aim to present real stories and authentic voices.”
Host Akkshay Rathie added, “Cinema is more than entertainment — it’s an ecosystem powered by resilience, creativity, and untold stories. With The Filmy Hustle Podcast, we’re excited to bring those narratives to life, collaborating with RosePod and welcoming some of the most insightful voices in the business.”
India TV’s Managing Director, Ritu Dhawan, emphasized the importance of innovative formats:
“As audiences shift towards streaming and on-demand content, podcasts have become a key part of the digital narrative. Our partnership with RosePod reflects our commitment to meaningful content and expands our digital footprint by connecting deeply with a new generation of viewers.”
The podcast kicks off with actor R. Madhavan, setting the tone for a compelling series. Upcoming episodes will feature prominent industry names such as Siddharth Roy Kapur, Murad Khetani, Monika Shergill, Anupama Chopra, Kabir Khan, Ram Gopal Varma, Anurag Kashyap, Devang Sampat, Amit Sharma, Vishek Chauhan, Sheykhar Ravjiani, Rajeev Masand, Kim Sharma, Gautam Thakker, and Mandavi Sharma.

With these strategic moves, the company continues to build a diverse and immersive entertainment ecosystem for Indian audiences.
