Lohia Auto Rebrands as Zuperia Auto, Launches ‘Youdha’ to Strengthen EV Three-Wheeler Market Presence

Lohia Auto, a key player in India’s electric vehicle industry, has officially rebranded as Zuperia Auto Private Limited (ZAPL), marking a significant shift in its growth strategy. As part of this transformation, the company has introduced a new brand, Youdha, aimed at expanding its footprint in the rapidly growing electric three-wheeler segment. Despite the rebranding, Zuperia Auto will continue to produce and sell products under both the legacy ‘Lohia’ brand and the newly launched Youdha.

The launch of Youdha reflects the company’s broader vision to make electric mobility more accessible to mobility entrepreneurs, fleet operators, and independent drivers, while also targeting India’s young and ambitious demographic.

“Lohia has always stood for innovation and empowerment. With Youdha, we are scaling that vision, creating a brand that symbolises ambition, dignity, and success,” said Ayush Lohia, Director of Zuperia Auto Pvt. Ltd. “This isn’t just about vehicles—it’s about building a movement around electric mobility that empowers users and supports a better tomorrow.”

Youdha is positioned as an aspirational, mass-market brand, extending the company’s offerings beyond premium EVs. It seeks to emotionally engage with consumers, moving past the conventional approach of utility-focused branding.

“This is more than a rebrand—it’s a strategic repositioning designed to resonate deeply with our users,” added Lohia. “Youdha is a symbol of empowerment, financial independence, and environmental responsibility.”

Derived from the Sanskrit word Yodha, meaning warrior, the name ‘Youdha’ signifies strength, resilience, and determination. Its visual identity reinforces this message: the logo, inspired by a warrior’s shield, integrates a central ‘Y’, a silhouette evoking an electric charging socket, and design elements that reflect the shape of a three-wheeler—blending tradition with modernity.

Youdha’s entry comes at a time when India’s electric vehicle sector is witnessing accelerated growth, fueled by supportive government policies, heightened environmental awareness, and increased demand for sustainable transportation. With this move, Zuperia Auto aims to redefine the electric three-wheeler category by prioritising user experience, community connection, and purpose-driven branding.

By combining innovative product offerings with meaningful brand storytelling, Zuperia Auto’s Youdha aims to create not just vehicles, but a community of users who see EV ownership as a step toward progress, independence, and impact.
